Paper wrapped wire is a type of winding wire made by oxygen-free copper strip or electric round aluminum strip drew or rolled by certain dimension moudle and then wrapped by certain insulation material. It is mainly used for oil immersed transformer, reactor, generator and other electric devices.

Material:

Soft copper rectangular wires used for paper wrapped wires/combination wires applies for GB/T5584.2-85 and the resistivity is no nore than 0.01724¦¸. Mm2/m in tempreture of 20º C. Suggested strength proof (RP0.2)as following according to different machine strength:
C1 RP0.2>100_180N/mm2
C2 RP0.2>180_220N/mm2
C3 RP0.2>220_260N/mm2
Aluminum rectangular wires used for paper wrapped wires/combination wires applies for GB/T5584.2-85 and the resistivity is no nore than 0.0280¦¸. Mm2/m in tempreture of 20º C.

Wrapped insulation material:

Kraft paper, high-density paper, thermally up-graded paper, Nomex410.

Structure design:

Combination wire can be made by 2 or more rectangular conductors overlapping in width or thickness. It can be divided into flat-overlapping, side-by-side overlapping and soid overlapping according to type of combination and wrapping.
